We sponsor Luton International Carnival 2023

UK Centre for Carnival Arts, who host the annual family event, which this year was held on Sunday 28th May, received £1000 from us.

These funds have provided materials and support from a carnival artist to TOKKO Youth Space’s OK2B group, creating costumes to wear in the Luton Carnival parade. The OK2B group provides support and a safe place for LGBTQI+ young people who are experiencing social isolation and mental health challenges. 

Their carnival entry, accompanied by Pride In Luton, enables LGBTQI+ young people to express a positive and vibrant identity and experience the inclusive and welcoming culture of Luton Carnival.
