We once again helped a Sudbury primary school give pupils a royal treat by buying ice creams for all the children.

Ice Cream Van steals the show

St Gregory CEVC Primary School held a Coronation-themed picnic for its 230-plus pupils on Thursday 4th May 2023, with games and activities for all to enjoy.

We bought ice creams for the pupils last year for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee and decided to do it once again to help make the picnic an extra special day for the students.

The children were absolutely thrilled when a student dressed as the new ‘King’ announced free ice cream for all.

Head teacher Daniel Woodrow at St Gregory CEVC Primary School said: “I am thrilled and grateful for Taylor Wimpey's generous contribution in sponsoring an ice cream van for our picnic. This act of kindness has undoubtedly created a memorable experience, bringing joy and delight to our students as they indulged in delicious frozen treats.”
