We fund visit from renowned local children’s author and illustrator for pupils in Hemlington

We donated £500 to St Gerard’s Catholic Primary School in Hemlington, to fund a visit from prominent children’s author and illustrator Liz Million

Meeting a real-life author and illustrator

The school which is located near to the Elderwood Grove development enjoyed a visit from Liz Million, whose books include Be Quiet Belinda, Not So Silly Sausage and One Fat Cat. The children’s author visited the school and led workshops tailored to each year group, where she shared her storytelling and illustration techniques with the students.
