We mark World Book Day with a donation to Calderwood Primary

Celebrating 26 years, World Book Day aims to encourage children of all ages to enjoy and appreciate the pleasures of all types of books.  Mrs Grieve, Acting Principal Teacher at Calderwood Primary, said: “We are very thankful and appreciative of the donation provided by Taylor Wimpey. This donation will support our Calderwood Communicates mini champs group who are currently leading a project to develop a reading culture in our school. This will give them the opportunity to build an innovative reading library and source different styles of books that reflect the interests, skills and voice of our learners.”
