First time buyers upgrade to dream family home at Woodlands Chase

A family in Whiteley are enjoying the extra space of their three bedroom home after upsizing from their rented home.

The perfect home for a growing family

Beauty therapist Olivia Tuson, 34, moved into her new home with her family in June. They initially rented a house just down the road from Woodlands Chase in Whiteley, but needed more space and wanted to own a property of their own. 

Olivia and her husband opted for a new build home due to its low maintenance. Olivia said: “We have kids and both work, and also come from a house that wasn’t a new build, so we just wanted something completely fresh that wouldn’t need a lot of work done to it.”

Olivia said: “The sales team were amazing and after moving the customer relations team have been incredible. This is quite a big thing to do, especially when it’s your first home, and the sales team were so honest which made us trust them. Even now, if there’s any DIY that needs doing, they get people out to come and fix it which is really good, and the site manager was amazing as well. I just feel like the staff really made everything better than we could have imagined.”

After exploring a wide selection of new build homes, the couple settled with Taylor Wimpey. Olivia said: “We chose our house because of the price, and because the space it offered was the best for its value. We also preferred the location to the other properties we looked at.”

Olivia and her family have now settled into their three bedroom Amersham home, which features a fourth smaller upstairs room which they have used as a nursery. She said: “We really like the development, and also love the designs of the houses as they’re all built differently from one another which we are quite happy with as they don’t all look the same. Our garden is amazing and pretty much everything about the house we love, it’s nice to have the extra space as well.”
