Inspiring the next generation

Students at the Ascot school participated in a range of interactive sessions that were organised by our West London team, which included a walkthrough of the land acquisition process, a deep dive into the number of different roles within the business and a sustainability-focused talk covering our commitment to energy efficiency.

Heidi Nicholls, Head of Careers at The Marist School said: “We’ve got a number of students interested in learning more about a variety of careers in construction, so we were delighted when Taylor Wimpey offered us the opportunity to host an interactive session with them.

“The insight and knowledge they gave into the different aspects of a housebuilder’s work was extremely useful for the students to hear as they begin to seriously consider where they would like to work in the future.”

Gemma Bibby, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey West London said: “We’d like to take this opportunity to thank both the pupils and staff at The Marist School for welcoming us. We had a great time speaking to the students and giving them an introduction to Taylor Wimpey. We found them to be well engaged during the session and inquisitive about house building, our work in the Berkshire area and the variety of roles that are available within the Taylor Wimpey family. We hope we inspired them to consider a career with us in the future.”
