We donate to St Alban’s Scout and Guide Gang Show

As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities local to our developments, we have donated towards the costumes of the St Albans Scout and Guide Gang Show 2024.

Supporting local talent

The show took place from the 14th February to 17th February at the Alban Arena and was performed by 96 members of the St Albans District Scout Association and the St Albans Division Guide Association ages 11 to 25-years-old. The show is run by a team of dedicated volunteers who manage everything from rehearsals to backstage jobs.

We donated 25 hard hats to the show worth £240. The hats were used in a musical number called ‘Hard Hat and Hammer’.

A triumphant success

Hermione Drew, Producer of the St Albans Scout and Guide Gang Show, said: “We are so grateful to Taylor Wimpey for supporting the St Albans Gang Show 2024. We have 96 cast members in the show, all needing up to eight costumes each and we are on a tight budget, so local support like this really makes a difference.

“The show was a real success and the cast did a great job in every performance. There was a real buzz in the theatre all week and our hats musical number went down a storm.”
