Supporting our communities
We challenged children at Great Bentley Primary School to come up with a vibrant and imaginative flag that represents Great Bentley and its famous village green, embodying the harmonious blend of country living and family life.
The pupils created a range of colourful entries, giving the Taylor Wimpey team a tough decision to make. In the end it was the two eight-year-old pupils Amelia and Otto whose designs took top prizes. They then paid a visit to the development to view their flags at full mast and to receive their gift prizes.
Louis Collins, headteacher at Great Bentley Primary School, said: “We are grateful to Taylor Wimpey for hosting the fun flag design competition for the pupils as it not only provided a platform for them to showcase their artistic abilities, but it also empowered our pupils to express their creativity and community spirit."
