We support Motherwell Cheshire to help transform lives

Our North West team awards £600 to a Cheshire based enterprise that aims to encourage, inspire and empower women to help improve their mental health.

Empowering the Cheshire community

Motherwell Cheshire was founded by Kate Blakemore with a vision to support women and girls to get full access to education and advocacy whenever they need it in order to fulfil their potential.

The charity provides an informative, entertaining, inclusive and relaxing environment where women are celebrated and congratulated for their contribution to the community, our economy and to each other.

To provide support to such charities, the Stoneley Park development organised a community chest competition, allowing the public to nominate the charities that they think deserve to win.

Stephanie Burgess, Community Engagement Manager at Motherwell Cheshire, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their generous donation of £600 and to the community for selecting us as the winners of the Community Chest competition.

“This support means the world to us and will have a profound impact on the lives of the women and girls we help on a daily basis. With this funding, we will continue our mission of transforming lives and creating brighter futures for the individuals and families in our community."
