Eagerly anticipated launch of our Calder Wynd show homes in Carnbroe raises over £750 for local hospice

House hunters came in their droves to the exclusive show home opening event of our eagerly awaited Calder Wynd development in Carnbroe. Families and prospective eager buyers brought their cherished teddies to a Teddy Bear’s Picnic and afternoon tea and raised over £750 for St Andrew’s Hospice in Airdrie.

We are delighted that so many house-hunters and members of the local community came along to our official show home launch to help us raise additional funds for such an incredible local service!

A fun filled afternoon

Families and prospective eager buyers brought their cherished teddies to a Teddy Bear’s Picnic and afternoon tea and raised over £750 for St Andrew’s Hospice in Airdrie.

Visitors also had their first opportunity to view two stylish show homes at the development—the Fraser and Maxwell four bedroom detached homes—and there was a range of activities for families to enjoy, including storytelling, face painting, balloon modelling, a teddy bear hunt, and the chance to meet a giant balloon bear.

Guests at the event were also encouraged to guess how many balloons it took to create the giant balloon bear, and Ollie from Cambuslang guessed the correct number at 64!
