Our Burdon Fields team share their love for Ryhope

Stuart Fenwick, Site Manager at Burdon Fields is a proud native of Sunderland. He has been an invaluable member of the our team since his arrival in 2013 as Assistant Site Manager and was quickly promoted to Site Manager in 2015.

When asked about his responsibilities and daily tasks, Stuart elaborates, “I focus on efficiently managing both our direct workforce and subcontractors to ensure the safe and high-quality completion of projects. While maintaining close coordination with departments like Sales and Customer Service, my main goal is to organise trades effectively, ensuring homes are delivered on time and within budget. I prioritise pushing for quality, aiming to deliver homes to the best standard for our customers.

Building a strong team at Burdon Fields, alongside Susan, our production team, and the Customer Relations Manager, has been instrumental in achieving our shared goal of providing exceptional homes and memorable experiences for our customers.”

Susan Nixon, Sales Executive at Burdon Fields, proudly hails from Bolden and has been with us for 10 years. In her role, she plays a pivotal part in managing customer inquiries, diligently capturing their needs and translating them into site visits or appointments. Susan shares her enthusiasm for the job, saying, "My role is challenging and busy, but rewarding, no two days are the same. I love meeting our future customers and guiding them on a special and exciting new home journey, while trying to make it as stress-free as possible.”

Expressing her affection for the area, Susan adds, "Fantastic location for walks with lots of green space, as well as being close to the coast with Seaham right on the doorstep.
