Vanessa Lingley, Business Manager at Market Harborough C of E Academy, said: “World Book Day is a fantastic initiative which really encourages children to develop their reading. Thanks to Taylor Wimpey’s donation, we’ll be able to add some new books to our library and we can’t wait for our pupils to get stuck into some new stories.”

Richard Albert, Headteacher at Hayfield Cross Church of England School, said: "This was a wonderful gesture by Taylor Wimpey and helps us to stock our school library as we look to expand our non-fiction range and collection of picture books. Reading is such a powerful tool for children everywhere and these new books will further engage and inspire our children."

Steve Clarke, Technical Director at Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, said: “World Book Day is a great opportunity to celebrate books and reading and we were delighted to support several schools across the region with a donation. We hope that the new books will inspire the children and fuel their imaginations.”
