We support Whiston football club with £600 donation

Residents in and around Whiston were invited to vote for a good cause local to our Fox Wood Garden Village development. 

After scores of entries, Whiston Juniors Football Club was chosen as the winner due to the valuable work they are doing to provide young athletes with opportunities to grow and thrive through sports.

Using the money from the donation, the club purchased a new mower to help improve the quality of their pitches and contribute to a positive player experience and performance.

Chris Hunt, Whiston Juniors Club Chairman said: "We are immensely grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their contribution as this donation will go a long way in helping us provide quality sports experiences to our team members. . 

“It’s fantastic to be nominated by the people within our community. It really demonstrates that the work we do with young people in the area is recognised and something to be incredibly proud of.”
