Creating a buzz: how we're helping native bees thrive with Buckley's Bees

Through this collaboration, we’ve sponsored two bee hives to help breed and nurture colonies of the native British honeybee. The new colonies are being carefully raised by Buckley’s Bees in Crewe, where they are housed in hives crafted from our donated excess wood and materials—giving our surplus resources a meaningful second life, too. 

Once established and thriving, the bees we have sponsored will help stock hives that are placed on some of our new developments. Beehives are just one of many ways we are supporting nature by creating dedicated spaces for wildlife across our suitable sites.
