Our annual fundraising challenge raises the bar once again
We're delighted to announce that this year's Taylor Wimpey challenge event has raised over £174,000 for charity, taking our grand total to over £1.5 million since the event began eleven years ago.
On Saturday 10th May, over 300 of our employees completed a 10km hike through the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, completing a variety of tasks designed to test their strategy, teamwork, and endurance.
The 53 teams from across the business proudly raised a total of £174,997 of which £90,581 will be donated to the Youth Adventure Trust (YAT), a charity which inspires vulnerable young people aged 11 to 16 through outdoor adventure. The remaining total will go towards supporting other charities across the UK.
