We gave aspiring young football players at Todwick Primary School a £500 donation towards their football kit.Alice Deeley, Headteacher of Todwick Primary School on Kiveton Lane, said: “It is our goal at Todwick Primary to provide pupils with opportunities to engage in physical learning and develop key life skills. We would like to sincerely thank Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire for this kind donation as sport plays an important part in our school life. The new kit for our team will help the players feel confident on the pitch and we look forward to watching them grow and develop.”

Romance blossoms at Swinston Rise
A couple who fell in love after buying neighbouring houses in Swinston Rise went on to cement their relationship by buying a home together on the same development.First-time buyers Callum Ward, 26 and Victoria Betts, 27, met on completion day when they moved into their homes in 2022. Callum said: “I can honestly say that it was love at first sight from the moment we saw each other, and then the rest was history.”
Eventually, the couple decided to become homeowners together, and they loved Swinston Rise so much they chose to move into a four-bedroom Midford.
Callum said: “We both loved living at Swinston Rise so it made perfect sense to choose our first home together here as well. When this plot came up for sale it was a no-brainer. We’re close to family and work with great access to the motorway and supermarkets. It’s a quiet, friendly neighbourhood with its own friendly Facebook group where people are really helpful.”
Victoria said: “The sales teams were so helpful both times around. It’s also great that you get your warranties included, your house feels fresh and new, and the move is hassle-free.”
