Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire has received planning approval from Wakefield District Council for a new residential development on Buckthorn Road, Normanton, with consent granted at committee on 13th March 2026.

The development will deliver 137 new homes, including 14 affordable homes, offering a mix of high-quality properties to meet local housing needs. The scheme will also include attractive areas of public open space and dedicated walking routes, helping to create a well-connected and sustainable community.

Building on the success of our adjoining Clover View development, this new scheme will continue to enhance the local area, providing thoughtfully designed homes in a desirable location.
