Supporting the local community
Pupils at Hardwick and Cambourne Community Primary School enjoyed the brand new nature trail in the showhome garden at Burghley Green in West Cambourne.
Designed to be fun and educational, the nature trail showcases all the amazing habitats that can be found in the garden and with bee posts, butterfly feeders, bird tables and hedgehog highways, there was plenty to explore. The children also received an activity pack to make the experience more interactive.
Emily Samuels, Assistant Headteacher at Hardwick and Cambourne Community Primary School, said: “We were delighted when Taylor Wimpey approached us about doing this activity. The children had a fantastic time exploring the nature trail and they learned lots of new things about the local wildlife in our area.”
