We give Troon RNLI a welcome boost

At the launch of our two developments for sale in Troon, we teamed up with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution to donate £25 for each new home sold and legally completed at Princess Gate and Queens Court. Volunteers are at the heart of the organisation, and this donation will help to save lives at sea in Troon.

Ongoing support

We donated the latest tranche of £475 this month, which brings the overall donation paid so far to £5,350 and almost reaching the total grand sum of £5,650 that has been pledged to the RNLI. All money is going directly to the local Troon RNLI Lifeboat Station.

This donation recognises the ongoing long-term relationship between Taylor Wimpey West Scotland and the RNLI with the money contributing towards the amazing life-saving services the Troon RNLI Lifeboat Station provides. Volunteers are at the heart of the organisation, and this donation will help to save lives at sea in Troon.

The RNLI has a vital role within the community of Troon, and the local lifeboat station covers the lower Firth of Clyde with its two lifeboats. The station at Troon has been in existence for 150 years (established 1871), and the crew members are dedicated to keeping the local community safe. They have received three RNLI medals for gallantry, as well as a recent RNLI Chief Executive’s Commendation for a rescue in June 2022.
