About the development
Site plan
Coed Issa is a thoughtfully designed brand new community of 70 homes nestled amongst the established residential area of Brymbo.
The community has been cleverly laid out to maximise private garden space and developed to include separate parcels of distinct homes, making it quick and easy to find your way around.
There's plenty of opportunity to enjoy outdoor exercise with footpaths located around the development and Brymbo Sports & Social Complex just a stone's throw away.

Supporting our communities
We encouraged pupils to discover the joy of reading by donating £500 towards World Book Day celebrations at Ysgol Tanyfron Primary School in Wrexham.
Carly Harris, Literacy Coordinator, said: “World Book Day holds such significance for us that we celebrate throughout the week. This is because books tend to play a crucial role in helping pupils develop a love for reading and for exploring new worlds.
“We are incredibly grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their donation as this allowed our pupils to handpick books that captured their individual interests, fostering a sense of ownership and excitement about reading.”
We continue support for Brymbo Cricket Club
We donated £350 to support Brymbo Cricket Club’s annual charity cricket match, which raised over £2,000 for CoppaFeel, a youth-focused breast cancer awareness charity. We have continually supported the club since 2022, with annual donations and sponsorships.
Now in its third year, the match has become a highlight in the club’s calendar, raising thousands of pounds for good causes including Pancreatic Cancer UK and Prostate Cancer UK. The event was established in memory of Clive Thompson, a much-loved committee member and supporter of the club, whose passing from cancer inspired members to create an annual fundraising tradition.
The community event brought together supporters from across Wrexham and raised over £2,000 which went directly towards CoppaFeel’s life-saving work raising awareness of breast cancer among young people.
We are building new homes right next to the club’s ground, at the Coed Issa development. We have previously helped the club with a sponsorship deal earlier this year, and a £500 donation in 2022. This donation supported the club's ambitious plan to renovate and expand their pavilion making it more accessible with room for juniors, women and girls, and those with impairments.
Jason Underwood, Chairman of Brymbo Cricket Club, said: “The charity match has become a really special occasion for everyone connected with Brymbo Cricket Club. It’s not just about cricket, it’s about honouring Clive’s memory and raising money for charities that make a real difference. We’re hugely grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their generous support, which will help make this year’s event another success.”
Jennifer Burns, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey North West, added: “We’re proud to be supporting Brymbo Cricket Club’s charity match, which brings the community together while raising vital funds for such an important cause. We are delighted to continue our support for the club as we continue to give back to the communities where we build. It is a pleasure to play a part in supporting both the club and CoppaFeel through this fantastic event.”
