Proposed Development

Millbrook Place

Crewe, CW2 5NL

Learn about our plans for an exciting new community in Crewe, Cheshire.

Under our proposals, we will provide 325 2, 3, 4 & 5 bedroom new homes perfect for young couples and families to downsizers and commuters – with 30% to be affordable housing and 70% to be sold on the private market.

The site is located just off David Whitby Way, Crewe, to the West of the new link road and is just 3.5 miles from junction 16 of the M6 motorway and 2.5 miles from the centre of Crewe, whilst Crewe train station is 2 miles away.

Millbrook Place will be centred around a 19th century water mill that will be redeveloped for community and commercial use. This new development of homes will feature a mix of traditional and urban style character areas.

Running through the site is Basford brook, with a foot path alongside it to allow easy access through the site. The development will be the first part of a masterplan development for the Basford East area of Crewe, with local infrastructure such as a school and employment area to form part of the future masterplan.

Our proposals for Millbrook Place

The master plan

We want to create a thriving new community in Crewe. Our plans for Millbrook Place are in line with the approved outline planning permission granted by Cheshire East Council in March 2019.

Millbrook Place will provide a mix of 2, 3, 4 & 5 bedroom high quality homes, 30% of which will be affordable housing.

Streetscenes

The appearance of the new homes will be reflective of the local area and we’ll use locally sourced materials to ensure the development is in keeping with existing houses nearby.

Homes proposed

Our proposals for private housing include 1, 2, 3 & 4 bedroom homes providing a range of housing to meet the local need.

The majority of the houses will be 2 storey, with some 2.5 storey housing. There will be a mix of detached, semi detached and mews style housing.
