Returning Taylor Wimpey customer, Folasade Fadenike Cliffe, a Social Worker, made the move to her third Taylor Wimpey home in November last year, after previously living at our Albion Lock and Bramley Wood developments in Sandbach.
When asked why she prefers new-build homes over pre-owned ones, Fadenike said: “Purchasing a newbuild home allows you to be involved in the building process and make choices when it comes to the finishes. I’ve purchased Taylor Wimpey homes previously and it’s been a good experience for me and I know they focus on quality homes and locations.”
After seeing the three-bedroom Byrneham house type on our website, she was thrilled to discover that it had just become available to purchase at Millstream Meadows.
Fadenike made the move using our Easymover scheme, which allows buyers to secure their new home before their old one is sold. The sales team then helps buyers to manage the sale of their existing home using their marketing and negotiating skills to make the sales process as simple as possible by removing the pressure to find a buyer. Estate agent fees are covered and the sales team then stays in contact with the customer, saving them both money and time.
Commenting on the purchasing process, Fadenike said: “The sales team were very helpful and I felt informed on the progress at all times, from reservation to completion. Along with the Easymover scheme, I had a 5% deposit contribution which was also really helpful.”
Now that she is moved into her new home, Fadenike shared her favourite things about the Byrneham home and Middlewich area: “I love the view from the main bedroom; it’s really lovely to wake up to the sunrise and watch the sunset. My new home also has a very good sized main bedroom, a large garden and overall the layout of the interior is very impressive. On top of this, the local area is rural and safe and the shops are a short drive from the development.”

We Inspire Creativity with School Welcome Card Competition
We collaborated with Cledford Primary School with an exciting welcome card competition. The initiative gave the children the chance to get creative and the winning designs will be printed and shared with new residents at Millstream Meadows.
The competition saw many enthusiastic children from Cledford Primary School take part, each showcasing their artistic talents. Our team at Millstream Meadows selected three deserving winners. Taking first place was Maisie (Year 6), followed by Ellie (Year 3) in second place and Rylee (Year 6) in third place.
The winners all received National Book Tokens vouchers, with Maisie securing a £50 voucher and Ellie and Rylee receiving £25 National Book Tokens vouchers each for their outstanding entries, allowing them to purchase books from any bookstore in the UK and online.
Lucy Wagstaff, Vice Principal at Cledford Primary School, said: "The children at Cledford Primary School relished the opportunity to use their creative skills when designing the cards. We very much hope that the new homeowners enjoy seeing the welcome cards as they join our community in Middlewich. Thank you to Taylor Wimpey for generously providing the winners’ prizes and for this opportunity."
Sam Evans, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Manchester, said: “We are thrilled to have taken part in this welcome card competition with Cledford Primary School. It's heartening to witness the creativity and enthusiasm of the children and we are proud to contribute to the development of artistic skills within the community and also encourage a love for reading with the National Book Tokens vouchers. We’re sure that our residents will love their welcome cards.”
