| March 2026 | We have secured an Approval of Matters Specified in Conditions (AMSC) detailed planning consent from Fife Council for a further 219 new homes as part of our Whitefields development in Dunfermline. This latest approval paves the way for the delivery of Whitefield Gate – the second development within the wider Whitefields masterplan. |
Community Community
We believe it’s our responsibility to support our communities, so that people are proud to call them home. That’s why we regularly donate time and money to local causes, and are passionate about investing in the areas we build.

Our new Environment Strategy sets out how we intend to help protect our environment for future generations by partnering with suppliers to reduce the impact of the homes and developments we build. We will make it easier for our customers to live a sustainable lifestyle. Our strategy focuses on the key environmental impacts for our business: climate change, nature, resources and waste.

Eight volunteers from Taylor Wimpey East Scotland spent a day supporting Woodmill High School’s garden allotment project in Dunfermline, further strengthening our commitment to community engagement and sustainability.
Our team rolled up their sleeves to help develop the school’s outdoor space, assisting with tasks such as preparing raised flowerbeds, clearing planting areas, which will support the students with gardening activities when they return after the summer holidays. The staff’s efforts are part of Taylor Wimpey East Scotland’s ongoing support for the project, which began with a £1,000 donation in 2025.
Having Taylor Wimpey East Scotland’s volunteers on site was a fantastic boost. Their help made a real difference, and it was great to have their expertise to create new raised flowerbeds for our students to plant up when they return from the summer holidays. It was a real pleasure to work alongside professionals who care about our community. “The allotment is a project that is close to many at Woodmill High School, and we are fully committed to ensuring that it continues to be a space where learning, wellbeing, and connection flourish
