In partnership with The Children & Young People’s Cancer Association, #PearlPower funds research projects for childhood cancer to help prevent similar tragedies for other families.

Taylor Wimpey South Thames provided a £480 donation to the The Budding Foundation dedicated to funding an exclusive two day experience for beneficiaries at the Mid Sussex charity, Kangaroos Learning Disability Charity.The Budding Foundation welcomed 30 children from Kangaroos to the Tates of Sussex South Downs Garden Centre’s Christmas Grotto for an exclusive and unforgettable day with Santa.
The Kangaroos Learning Disability Charity visited the South Downs Christmas Grotto on Sunday 7th and Saturday 13th December for their exclusive visit.
We provided a tree for the Hassocks community
Taylor Wimpey South Thames and Hassocks Parish Council worked together to install a new addition to the landscape at Adastra Park for the benefit of local residents, as well as the local wildlife which has made Hassocks its home.Having decided on the most suitable type of tree based on the local soil, environment and proposed location, the housebuilder then provided a £500 donation to cover the cost of the sapling, planting materials and a commemorative plaque.

We sponsored the Wheels Through the Years classic car show for the second year.The family-friendly event organised by Weald Classic Vehicle Club attracts around 200 classic cars, bikes and commercial vehicles for exhibition.
David Nightingale, Club Event Manager at Weald Classic Vehicle Club, took his 1963 Vauxhall Victor FB to our Friars Oak development to meet the team and thank us for our support.

Taylor Wimpey welcomes Hassocks pupils to its Friars Oak development for a careers day
For the second consecutive year, Year 10 students from Hazelwick School were invited to participate in a morning workshop to explore a variety of career opportunities within the construction industry.Following last year’s successful visit to Ockley Park, this year’s event was hosted by the team at Friars Oak.
Students were given the opportunity to hear from award winning Senior Site Manager, Sean Macleod; Lucy Brogan, Sales Adviser and Charlene Francis, Quantity Surveyor.
The housebuilder also arranged a tour of the development giving students the chance to take on the role of the site team by touring a completed home and carrying out checks on a drainage visual, ahead of NHBC inspection.
