Luke Williams is celebrating his second Pride in the Job 2024 Quality Award win from the National House-Building Council (NHBC).Now in its 44th year, the Pride in the Job Quality Awards have become the benchmark for exceptional site managers and are awarded following a rigorous judging process. Thousands of inspections have taken place to determine this year’s 449 winners from a field of more than 8,000 sites. Mr Williams’s win puts him in the top 5% of UK site managers.

Hazelwick School visit us at Ockley Park
Twelve Year 10 students were invited to see the work that goes into creating new homes and communities.As part of their studies we arranged a tour of the development and students simulated the role of their site team by performing checks on a completed home.
Luke Williams, Site Manager at Ockley Park, delivered a presentation on Taylor Wimpey and our Ockley Park development, speaking to students about the career opportunities available and insights into land acquisition, planning, development design and creation processes too.
Sarah Andrews, Careers Lead at Hazelwick School, said: “It was brilliant that the students went to visit Ockley Park. Being able to show them around a real building site and see everything in action was an excellent opportunity for our students.
“We’d like to thank Taylor Wimpey for reaching out to us and giving our students this interactive opportunity.”

Each year, gardens across Sussex open their gates to the public in support of the hospice, which provides expert care to adults living with a life-limiting illness.
Through a small fee, visitors have the opportunity to take an exclusive peek and explore some of the most renowned gardens across the region, helping to bring expert and compassionate hospice care to more local families.
Our South Thames team has donated £500 towards the Hassocks Village Garden Trail which was hosted on Sunday 9th June.
