About the development
Stoke Rise
We’ve built the homes at Stoke Rise to incorporate contemporary architecture and design features, whilst still reflecting the character and buildings of the local area. As a result, the development is full of attractive street scenes, complemented by pockets of green space. The homes themselves have been designed to cater to the needs of modern living, with flexible spaces to use how you see fit. Residents can use their spacious rooms for work, play, or peace and quiet, with plenty of space to entertain guests.
The development’s outline planning approval includes permission for an extra care facility and a mixed-use local centre, as well as public open space and landscaping. Stoke Rise will be set out in four ‘blocks’, each connecting to a central spine road which links to the main access point on Primary Street to the east. This allows for easy, convenient connection to all homes on the development.

How we are making our homes more energy efficientStoke Gifford Rangers win our Community Chest competition
Stoke Gifford Rangers has been awarded a £500 donation from our Bristol team after being announced as the winner of a regional competition, thanks to votes from members of the public.
Part of Girlguiding UK, Stoke Gifford Rangers gives 14–18 year-old young women from the local community an opportunity to come together, earn qualifications and badges, and learn more about the world around them.
Our donation will be put to good use, with the group currently fundraising for a trip to Switzerland.
The competition, called Community Chest, encourages the community to vote for local charities, organisations or individuals which they feel would benefit most from a donation from Taylor Wimpey, with the winning organisation receiving the most nominations.
Jackie Padgett, one of the leaders at Stoke Gifford Rangers, said: “We are delighted to be chosen as the winner of Taylor Wimpey’s Community Chest competition, and we would like to thank everyone in the community who took the time to nominate us.
“In an ever-changing world, it’s really important to us and our members that we continue to provide activities and sessions that engage and inspire our girls, and we hope that thanks to Taylor Wimpey’s donation, we will be able to head off on an incredible trip to Switzerland.”
Rob Curry, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Bristol, said: “At Taylor Wimpey, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we build, so we are really pleased to announce Stoke Gifford Rangers as our winner.
“We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to make a nomination for our Community Chest competition and we’re looking forward to continuing our support for more fantastic local initiatives and causes in the future.”
We help Tamil Association Bristol celebrate New Year
We have continued our support of the Tamil Association of Bristol by supporting the group’s New Year celebrations.
After sponsoring the group’s Diwali celebration event last year, our Bristol team has again supported the Tamil Association in sponsoring their New Year’s celebrations.
The event, which was held at Bristol’s Filton Community Centre brought together Tamil families from across the region to celebrate the Tamil New Year.
Our support of the event has allowed the Association to continue to provide cultural and meaningful events, and bring members of the Tamil community together.
Rob Curry, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Bristol, said: "It is really important to us to support organisations and causes within the communities where we build, so we were thrilled to be able to continue our support of the Tamil Association Bristol. We would like to congratulate the Association on another brilliant event for both the Tamil community in Bristol.”
