We are preparing detailed proposals for a new high-quality residential development on land to the north of Crondall Lane, Farnham.  

  • Land off Crondall Lane, Farnham

    We have secured outline planning permission for a new residential development on land to the north of Crondall Lane, Farnham, and are now preparing detailed proposals for 120 high-quality homes on the site.

    Outline planning permission was granted by Waverley Borough Council in September 2015, which established the general principle of residential development with access from Crondall Lane.     Details relating to the design and specific layout of the houses, including the means of landscaping and the method of dealing with surface water drainage and foul sewerage, were reserved at outline stage to be determined separately.

    We are now preparing a 'reserved matters' planning application which will deal with these details. As part of this process, we are undertaking a public consultation to give local people the chance to view and comment on our detailed proposals before the planning application is finalised.

  • The proposed development site

    The proposed development site measures approximately 5.8 hectares and is located on the north-western edge of Farnham.

    It occupies a broadly rectangular parcel of land to the north of Crondall Lane and Beavers Road, and comprises the southern section of a larger L-shaped field of semi-improved grassland and a small wooded area.

    To the south, east and west the site is bounded by existing development, whilst to the north lies open countryside.

    The site is located within walking and cycling distance of a number of local facilities, shops and services.

  • August 2014 - Outline planning application submitted for up to 120 homes

    April 2015 - Resolution to grant outline planning permission for up to 120 homes, subject to the completion of a Section 106 Agreement. 

    September 2015 - Outline planning permission granted.

    March 2015 - Public consultation for reserved matters planning application.
