    From the M4 Junction 15:
    At the roundabout take the first exit onto the A419, then take the first exit off the A419 signposted Swindon A4259. Continue on the A4259 until you reach a roundabout and take the second exit onto the B4006. Continue until you reach a mini roundabout, taking the first exit (straight across). At the next roundabout take the second exit (straight across) signposted B4006 Wroughton. At the next roundabout take the first exit and when you come to a mini roundabout, continue straight across until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with Croft Road. At the traffic lights, go left. Turn right at the next traffic lights then right again at the next set of traffic lights (next to the pub). At the T Junction, turn left onto East Wichel Way, and then right onto Offerton Road. The Sales Information Centre will be in front of you.


    From Old Town:
    Proceed towards Wroughton on Croft Road, at the second set of traffic lights, turn right . At the next set of traffic lights, turn right. At the T Junction turn left onto East Wichel Way, and then right onto Offerton Road. The Sales Information Centre will be in front of you.

    Welcome to the latest edition of our Cornerstone newsletter. Here you’ll find all the latest news about Wichelstowe, the wonderful new homes development that’s taking shape in East Wichel, Swindon.

    Looking to the future at Wichelstowe

    CGI-The-Block-A-Apartments-Wichelstowe-BrochureThese are exciting times at Wichelstowe with the development nearing the final phases of construction and around 300 Taylor Wimpey new homes now completed.

    Work to finish the footpaths and cycle ways in phase 2 is due to take place soon. This will include the paths to Nunwick Way and Ravensdale, along the STAr (Sustainable Transport Artery) route between Arnhill Road and Eyam Road, in Eyam Road and in Langdean Road and Brentforte.

    Construction and remedial works will be undertaken so that the roads and footways at Wichelstowe can be adopted by Swindon Borough Council, but in the meantime Taylor Wimpey will retain responsibility for the maintenance of the roads.

    Residents are also reminded that the bus lane at the development is for use by authorised heavy goods vehicles only, and is under CCTV surveillance – so please avoid using this route or you will be issued with a ticket.

    New homes for early birds in East Wichel!

    Taylor Wimpey is not only building fantastic new houses and apartments at Wichelstowe – it’s also providing new homes for birds.

    The leading local housebuilder donated five nest boxes to nearby East Wichel Community Primary School and Nursery as part of National Nest Box Week in February.

    The school hopes that it will provide a home for breeding birds and also be an exciting observation project for the pupils as eggs are laid and chicks hatch.
