Taylor Wimpey Bowls triples winners announced in Winchburgh

Seton Park - bowls winner - Sept 2016

The inaugural Taylor Wimpey Triples Tournament held at Winchburgh Bowling Club earlier this month was blessed with great weather and support from the local community, and Taylor Wimpey East Scotland is delighted to confirm the trophy will be staying local as the winners are Gary Bertram, Davy Gemmell Jnr and Stevie Irvine from Winchburgh. Taylor Wimpey announced its support for the new local invitational bowls competition earlier this year and it attracted 24 teams of three players from across the local area competing to be Winchburgh Bowling Club’s ‘Taylor Wimpey Triples’ champions. Sponsoring Winchburgh Bowling Club is a great chance to be involved in the local community as Karen Armstrong, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland comments: “We’re delighted to hear the Taylor Wimpey Triples Tournament was such a great community event with so many old and new members taking the opportunity to get involved, and we’d like to extend our congratulations to the winners.”

Sponsoring Winchburgh Bowling Club is a great chance to be involved in the local community as Karen Armstrong, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland comments: “We’re delighted to show our support for this very successful local club that is extensively used by the local community throughout the year as it continues to see its membership grow year on year.
“We hope the new Taylor Wimpey Triples Tournament can become a regular fixture in the local community calendar, and that it encourages healthy numbers of spectators to visit the club to enjoy a great community event.”

Primary School pupils get a lesson at our Seton Park development

    TWES HolyFamilypics2 - web

Pupils from a primary school in West Lothian have been given an exciting opportunity to see the new homes that are under construction at our Seton Park development in Winchburgh as part of their ‘Houses and Homes’ project in school.

Youngsters from the Primary two/three class from Holy Family Primary School asked if they could explore our development to learn all about how a house is built, look at various stages of construction and take the opportunity to visit the two completed showhomes at the development.

Our team in Winchburgh was more than happy to facilitate the visit and found the children to be very enthusiastic with lots of interesting and well-informed questions as Nigel Reid, Site Manager adds:  “I was delighted to be able to welcome the pupils from Holy Family Primary School along to the development for an exciting insight into the build process of our new homes."
