The allure of country living in Bacton beckoned and they couldn't be happier with their move. Gillian said, "In Beacon Green, we've found our sanctuary, It's a place where the pace of life is gentler and the community feels like family. Supporting the local community
Bacton Under Fives, a local care and educational group for young children has been awarded £1,000 from our East Anglia team, after being crowned as the winner of our Community Chest competition.
Bacton Under Fives offer childcare services for those aged from three months to 11 years old, aiming to transform the lives of local children and families by creating an environment which feels like home.
Pat Chapman, Manager of Bacton Under Fives, said: “Bacton Under Fives offers young children the chance to learn, play and develop their social skills and the wonderful prize will help us continue our support to families within the local community.”
Supporting Bacton Primary School to make playtime less lonely
We donated £500 to Bacton Primary School, which they put towards purchasing a friendship bench and sports equipment.
A ‘buddy bench’ or ‘friendship bench’ is a seat in a school playground which pupils can use to make friends and talk to each other.
Tessa Saint, Executive Headteacher at Bacton Primary School said: "We’d like to thank Taylor Wimpey East Anglia for their generous donation. It's been really heartwarming to see our pupils utilising the bench. The children have been using the bench to talk to each other as well as invite each other to play in various games during their lunchtime.”

A home is more than just a house, it’s also about the community that surrounds it. And that’s why we’re invested in building communities that support local businesses, provide much needed facilities for the area and bring people together.
