Featherstone Rovers kitted out by national homebuilder
Featherstone Rovers were kitted out in style this season thanks to a £7,000 kit sponsorship from Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire.
The partnership, which sees Taylor Wimpey act as official sponsor for the team, included branding on home, away and alternative kit during the 2020 season, as well as pitch side advertising and social media activity.
Davide Longo, chief executive officer at Featherstone Rovers says: “We are very grateful for Taylor Wimpey’s continuous support of the club.
“Donations such as these are hugely valuable to the team and we look forward to competing in the new year.”
Taylor Wimpey has a long-standing relationship with Featherstone Rovers, having supported the team for five years with donations totalling over £20,000 including support for the charity’s annual fundraising dinner and an improved road system to the club.
Ross Clarkson, sales director at Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, said: “We’re passionate about supporting the communities in which we build and we’re incredibly proud to be associated with Featherstone Rovers.
“Team sports such as rugby are a great way to keep people healthy and active while instilling discipline and the importance of teamwork. We’re always more than happy to help such wonderful causes and wish the club all the best with the rest of the season.”
