    About the area

The attractive town centre is just a mile away from the property in Willenhall, with a choice of supermarkets, plus local shops, pubs and places to eat. Much of the town centre is a designated conservation area, centred around the Market Place and Victorian Clock Tower.

The town has a long and proud history associated with lock-making, and the Locksmith’s House in New Road, not far from the Taylor Wimpey Willenhall development, is managed by the Black Country Living Museum to provide a glimpse of local people’s lives in the very early 20th century.

    Leisure and Entertainment

Relaxing walks can be taken along the peaceful canal towpaths of the Wyrley and Essington Canal to Rough Wood Chase Nature Reserve, which is perfect for walking, picnics and nature spotting, while just a short walk to the west from the new homes in Willenhall is Fibbersley Nature Reserve, a tranquil wetland site which is home to a rich variety of aquatic life.

Meanwhile, the extensive selection of shops and restaurants and entertainment, leisure and sports facilities of Wolverhampton city centre to the west and Walsall town centre to the east are both just four miles from the property to buy in Willenhall.

Families will appreciate the good choice of well-regarded nursery, primary and secondary schools located within easy reach of the property for sale in Willenhall, including Lane Head Nursery School and Fibbersley Park Primary School which were both rated outstanding at their most recent Ofsted inspections.

The new houses for sale in Willenhall also enjoy a well-connected location for commuters, with Junction 10 of the M6 less than two miles away by car for easy access to the Midlands and the North West.

With so much on the doorstep, Spring Walk is the perfect place to call home.

    From the M6

Leave the M6 at junction 10 and take the B4464 (Wolverhampton Road West) towards Wolverhampton. Turn right at the junction with the A462 onto Clarkes Lane, following this road straight over the roundabout, then take the 2nd left turn onto Spring Lane where the development can be found.

    From Wolverhampton

Take the A4124 (Wednesfield Road) out of the centre of Wolverhampton. Follow this road over 7 roundabouts continuing on the A4124 (changing to Lichfield Road). Take the right hand turn at the junction with the A462 Cannock Road and head south towards Willenhall. Take the 2nd exit at the roundabout onto Coppice Lane, then follow this road taking the 7th left hand turn onto Spring Lane where the development can be found.

Hayley and Daniel welcome a spring baby at Spring Walk

1 TWWM Spring Walk Spring Baby

Hayley and Daniel with their new arrival, residents at Spring Walk, Willenhall

Hayley Pearson and her partner Daniel Colbourn welcomed a new arrival to their family this spring, shortly after moving into their brand new home at Spring Walk.

The young couple moved into their three-bedroom ‘Denford’ property in September 2014, and had their daughter Savannah-Rose just seven months later in March – a new spring baby for their new home at Spring Walk!

Hayley says: “We originally bought this property before I was pregnant, because we knew a three-bedroom house would offer us more of the space we needed and it was somewhere we would be able to live long-term, so when I did fall pregnant we were so glad we did choose this house!

“Spring Walk is a lovely development –it’s always tidy and we have so many great amenities close by. We have shops and supermarkets right on our doorstep, as well as a bus stop nearby and the local primary and secondary schools are only a five-minute walk away.”

Their property is the couple’s first home together, after both moved out from their family homes, but as Hayley and Daniel grew up in the surrounding areas of Willenhall they wanted to remain close by to their friends and relatives.

Hayley says: “We bought a new-build house from Taylor Wimpey because it was so convenient for us as everything was sorted out as soon as we moved in – when we first viewed the house we were really impressed at how spacious it was yet it was still affordable, and we’re only a 10 minute walk from my parents’ house.

“We absolutely love our new home – the living room is situated at the back of the house so we have the French doors opening out to the garden, plus we have a downstairs cloakroom and en-suite bathroom so there’s always enough space.”

Hayley adds: “Taylor Wimpey was so helpful when we were buying our house, all of the staff were absolutely great and we had no issues whatsoever. We love life in our new home and since moving in we’ve had no complaints.”
