    We are currently promoting the land north of Golf Drive, Nuneaton for predominantly residential purposes.

    The site has the potential to accommodate up to 621 homes along with community facilities, public open space and a green gym. 

    The site is being promoted for allocation as a site  for housing development  in the draft Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough local plan, which is designed to strategically plan growth in the borough between 2011 and 2031 in order to meet housing and employment needs.

    The site is within the jurisdiction of Nuneaton and Bedworth Council, to the east of Nuneaton and within the ward of Whitestone.

    The site covers an area of approximately 78.6 acres of agricultural farmland. The north and east of the site is bound by agricultural land, with the existing residential edge to the south and west.

    As well as new private and affordable homes our proposals will include:

    • Open space provisions and the potential for a green gym

    We want to work with the local community to ensure we get the right proposal for the area in order to deliver the new homes and infrastructure improvements the area needs. We will consult the local community in in due course.

    • August 2017 – Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council underwent the Stage 1 Examination in Public for the new Local Plan.
    • February 2018 - Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council underwent the Stage 2 Examination in Public for the new Local Plan. 
    • March 2018 – Taylor Wimpey held a Design and Play workshop for the Year 2 students at Whitestone Infant School.
    • We are looking to hold more consultations over the coming months.
