Our proposed development forms part of the wider masterplan for the Brackenhill Farm area and is part of the Hamilton Community Growth Area (CGA).

Our Oakwood View development will offer 40 new homes from our Caledonian Collection.
Masterplan
Improved transport infrastructure will include an upgrade to Meikle Earnock Road, which will allow for the continuation of the new cycle and bus route.
A new footpath network will provide pedestrian access to the existing woodland and open space, as well as links to the wider local area, and there will be play areas provided within other parcels of the masterplan development for children to play and socialise.

Our programme of pre-construction works is progressing well and we would like to take this opportunity to confirm that work to create the second permanent access off Garnqueen Crescent in Glenboig will begin in the next few months and take around six weeks to complete. These works have been planned to co-ordinate with a programme to deliver services to the development in order to minimise overall period of disruption to the local community. During this time there will be three-way temporary traffic management measures in place and we would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please be assured it is our aim to minimise any inconvenience to the local community. Our contractor’s core working times are 8.00am to 7.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am to 1.00pm on Saturday, with no working permitted on Sunday. Meikle Earnock Road, Hamilton – progress update and advance notice of road closure.
We are pleased to confirm the upgrade works to Meikle Earnock Road in Hamilton are progressing well and remain on programme. We would also like to take this opportunity to provide advance notice of the closure period when there will be NO access to Meikle Earnock Road.
The programme of upgrade works to Meikle Earnock Road started on Monday 6 June 2022 and is expected to take around nine months to complete. During this period we can confirm that a section of Meikle Earnock Road will be closed from Tuesday 6 September 2022 – Monday 5 December 2022 inclusive. During this period there will be a diversion in place for all road users and we would kindly ask you to please follow the local signage. You can access further information about the diversion route here. Following the road closure period there will be some temporary traffic management measures required for a short period of time.
Please do allow more time when planning your journey, and we apologise in advance for any inconvenience while this essential work is completed.
June 2022
We would like to take this opportunity to confirm that our work to upgrade a section of Meikle Earnock Road, Hamilton will begin from Monday 6 June 2022. This programme of essential work will run for approximately nine months and will require temporary traffic management measures which will include some partial and full closures. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience and we will work with our contractor to minimise any disruption to you.
Please follow any temporary road diversions and note there is likely to be dust and noise disturbance while this work is completed.
The upgrade work will provide better road widths, safer pedestrian crossing points, improved surfacing and visibility, together with speed limit signs and a proposed bus stop.
Please be reassured that all road upgrade works are approved under our planning consent from South Lanarkshire Council.
We will closely monitor all activity and please accept our apologies in advance if our work affects you. The health and safety of local residents and our operatives is our number one priority.
May 2022
We are pleased to confirm the initial phase of earthworks and surface water management measures have now been completed successfully. We are now preparing for our programme of infrastructure works, and in order to facilitate this work our contractor will establish a compound area in early May 2022 within our development site. We expect initial works within our site to begin w/c 9 May 2022, and the planned road upgrade to a section of Meikle Earnock Road will start shortly after when all required permits are in place from South Lanarkshire Council.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause and we will provide further updates as our programme of work progresses.
April 2022
We are preparing to begin a programme of infrastructure works in the next few weeks. This will include upgrading a section of Meikle Earnock Road in Hamilton and earthworks within our site.
As a responsible homebuilder, we have issued an information postcard to those residents that we expect will be most affected with details of our initial programme. It includes details of where to get further updates on our programme of work and how to get in touch with us for anyone with a question or any concerns about any of the work that our contractors are undertaking on our behalf. We has secured an Approval of Matters specified in Conditions (AMSC) from South Lanarkshire Council for the provision of 203 private new homes through the development of land off Meikle Earnock Road, Hamilton.
This development is part of a wider masterplan which benefits from Planning Permission in Principle (PPP), and our detailed planning consent confirms the details of the housing mix, landscaping and building materials that will be delivered.
