Community Benefits

We support local care home

We have donated £250 to Fiddler's Green care home in Surbiton, Surrey, as part of our ongoing support to local community organisations.

Fiddler's Green care home is a service set up to provide support for people who require accommodation, nursing and personal care. The voluntary organisation offers customised support plans to ensure each client receives the help they need, providing health care, group days out and a friendly face to communicate with daily.

Ricardo Da Silva Freitas, Hillingdon and Surbiton Services Manager at Ability House Association, said: "Fiddler's Green is a small but impactful care home. We have volunteers who care for each one of our clients' specific needs and this requires high levels of training. With this donation we can ensure that all of our staff are trained in every area to the best standard."

Help to Buy - London

With Help to Buy London the government will lend you up to 40% of the price of your new home!

The well established Help to Buy Equity Loan scheme is already hugely successful with people buying new build homes in England worth up to £600,000.

Given the current property market in Greater London, the government has increased the maximum equity loan it gives new buyers in the area to 40%.

With London Help to Buy equity loan:

  • you’ll need to contribute at least 5% of the property price as a deposit
  • the government will give you a loan for up to 40% of the price
  • you’ll need a mortgage of up to 55% to cover the rest
