We donated £250 to Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness
Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness (KCAH) have been announced as the most recent winners of our donation box scheme at Tolworth Square. We donated £250 to the charity which works to help single people in the local area who are homeless.
KCAH is based in Kingston upon Thames and provides a variety of services including a daily drop in centre, assistance with housing referrals, a job club and the provision of emergency clothing and food.
Camilla Wheal, Communications Officer at KCAH, said: “We are incredibly grateful for Taylor Wimpey’s donation and it was lovely to hear that people in the local community had voted for us to receive some additional support. The work we do can really help to change the lives of homeless people in the local community and we are always grateful for extra funding which is vital in helping us to continue to offer much needed support to those in need.”

We supported Surbiton Farmers’ Market with a £250 donation
We are pleased to announce that Surbiton Farmers’ Market is one of the recent winners of our donation box scheme. After receiving the most votes from visitors to Tolworth Square, we have donated £250 to the volunteers who organise the popular monthly market which takes place on Maple Road in Surbiton.
The award winning market takes place on the third Saturday of every month and welcomes 26 farmers and producers who sell a range of fresh produce and speciality foods.
Commenting on the donation, Robyn McAllister, Director at the Surbiton Farmers’ Market said: “The market helps to cultivate a great sense of community and togetherness and has a really positive impact in Surbiton. The amazing support of Taylor Wimpey will help us to make the market even better and I would like to thank Taylor Wimpey for their generosity.”

Surbiton Hockey Club wins a £250 donation from Taylor Wimpey
We are excited to announce that Surbiton Hockey Club is the first winner of the donation box scheme running at Tolworth Square. Surbiton Hockey Club received the most votes throughout the month of February and will be gifted £250.
Surbiton Hockey Club provides sporting facilities for the local community with many of its players recognised at an international level.
Suresh Desai, Club President at Surbiton Hockey Club, said: “We are always looking for sponsorship in order to help us develop our facilities, so we were really pleased to discover that we’d received the most votes in Taylor Wimpey’s donation box scheme. We would like to say a huge thank you to Taylor Wimpey.”
